What you’ll do:
Our new Social Media Copywriter will bring Volvo Cars’ stories to life by crafting imaginative copy and innovative treatments across all platforms and channels. We’re looking for someone to take our stories to new audiences, connect with consumers and inspire our many fans and friends across the world.

You’ll take in-depth and exciting subject matter and maximise the content for Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and other channels. There’s no such thing as an average week at Volvo Cars and you’ll be talking about sustainability, tech, software, safety, electrification, digital transformation and more.

We’re based in Sweden, of course, but all of your work will be in English. As a result, you’ll have excellent command of the language, preferably being a native speaker. Your tone, style and craft will be crucial in this role.

You’ll be working alongside executive level stakeholders, providing influence and direction to our most high-profile accounts. You’ll influence and educate us on social media best practice, trends and latest updates. Your finger will be firmly on the pulse at all times.

You’ll unite multiple areas of the business and be agile and adaptable in your working week.

What you’ll bring:
Like our cars, you’ll need to be able to handle anything. And like our cars, you’ll be engineered to exhilarate. Versatile and reliable, we’re after someone who can write engaging copy quickly. Ideally, you can also edit and produce video content and graphics. You’ll also need to react fast to social trends and be able to entertain as well as inform.

Do you:

  • Write crisp, clear and catchy entries across social media?
  • Have experience of always-on reactive copy and content production?
  • Know what types of text content appeal to different audiences, on different social media platforms?
  • Have some graphic design and video editing skills?
  • Know how to entertain people, make them smile, laugh, think and act?
