About PR at Trustly:The PR team at Trustly is small but growing. Our main objective is to make Trustly a reputable brand within the payments industry, among not only merchants and consumers, but regulators, banks, investors and employees as well.
About the role:As the Head of PR, you’ll develop and execute on the team’s PR strategy, with the aim of building awareness and managing media relations. You’ll lead a team of local PR managers based in priority markets, and/or source and manage PR agencies in those respective markets. To be successful in this position, you’re likely bursting with creative energy and ideas to bring the Trustly story to life, but also have the enthusiasm and attention to detail required to put them into motion. You’ll do lots of writing in English, ensuring our messaging is always consistent across channels.
What you’ll do:
Manage a team of local PR managers and agencies, focusing on developing and maintaining media relations across priority markets
Develop and execute on proactive PR strategies and campaigns and measure and report on the results
Write and pitch press releases and align with senior key stakeholders, including the Marketing, Investor Relations, Corporate Communication and Sustainability teams
Ensure consistent communications across all Marketing and PR channels, including website and social media, while understanding the nuances of local markets
Support spokespeople throughout the company by crafting messaging and arranging media training
Who you are:
You have 10+ years of experience in — and an undying passion for — PR (preferably from an agency, public company or high-growth fintech)
You have experience building and empowering a small team
You have an extensive list of media contacts in international, national and trade publications
You have experience working in public affairs and acting as a spokesperson in the media
You’re comfortable coordinating with many stakeholders from various teams and departments
You have an extraordinary command of the English language (Swedish or additional languages are a bonus!)
