Sproud is looking for a real creative superstar and changemaker, to drive the overall visual brand identity and communication strategy to be implemented for Sproud globally, across owned, earned and paid channels. We think you are both a creative explorer as well as a strategic executor with ability to lead our global inhouse studio in a fast moving and international environment.

As Global Brand Lead you will work with long-term strategic plans and the identity of Sproud, to define and bring to life what the Sproud brand stands for on a global basis. You will identify and build global partnerships, relationships and initiatives that reinforce Sproud’s equity and drive consumer engagement. You will work closely with the country leads (SWE, UK, US) to assess local marketing needs and develop communication platforms and content to deliver to the local markets for implementation. You will lead the team into creating content and material for all media platforms as well as continuously alter plans and ideas to optimize our brand presence.
You will report to the global CEO and be based at our headquarters in Malmö, Sweden.

Your main work tasks will be:

  • Responsible for strategy and brand identity
  • To drive the global marketing in-house studio with responsibility for the global creative output including activities that cover brand tonality and visual features, content creation, digital marketing, global partner marketing and sponsorships
  • Drive and follow up marketing activities as well as brand impact of marketing initiatives
  • Manage external agency relationships to stretch and accelerate the growth journey and activities to support it
  • Initiate global marketing and customer partnerships that will fit and accelerate the brand presence and perception
  • Manage the global marketing budget to plan, execute and optimize the marketing spend

The role

  • You are a marketing expert and know what excellent commercial success looks like, with good business understanding and experience from creative brand and communication development

  • As a part of a scale up business it is important to be flexible and solution oriented – so you have to be comfortable working where things constantly change and where speed is more important than perfection
  • Great communication is an important skill of yours, together with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, external partners and influence decision making across all levels of the organization

To be successful in the role we believe that you:

  • Have a University Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Media Design, Journalism or equivalent experience in marketing, content agency or event promotion
  • Possess great leaderships skills working with creative teams, content producer, media agencies, product management, event ops, venues
  • Have 10+ years of experience in marketing and from driving an international lifestyle brand (work in food or beverage a plus) with younger audiences in digital and real-life spaces
  • Are fluent in English
