You’re a wordsmith that can master the IKEA brand voice, and adapt it to a variety of topics and channels. You’re comfortable working in creative teams and processes, turning strategies and briefs into innovative communication concepts. You’re a skilled presenter and can sell-in your team’s ideas to internal stakeholders.

As an experienced creative, you can juggle multiple projects, manage your own workload, and meet your deadlines. But you’re also willing to lend a hand to other team members and copywriters when needed. An ability to handle a wide range of projects and people is a must, and if you also have an interest in sustainability, design, and home furnishing, that’s even better.

What you need:

  • Native (or near native) English language skills.
  • Substantial (5+ years) copywriting experience, in-house or at an agency.
  • A solid portfolio that demonstrates your ability to write clear and clever copy for a variety of subjects and channels.
  • Digital marketing and advertising experience. Content strategy is a plus.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of today’s platforms and the multi-channel landscape.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

We’re looking for a senior-level Copywriter to join the Editorial team at INGKA Group Communication in Malmö. The Editorial team is made up of Copywriters, Graphic Designers and video focused Digital Producers. We’re a bunch of people-centred creatives, who like to make great stuff but leave our egos at the door. Now we need a like-minded Copywriter with a flair for creating clear and compelling stories, a doer with a critical mind that wants to create innovative communication as well as support others in the organisation to become excellent communicators.

As a copywriter in the Editorial team, your projects could range from external and internal campaign packages, to conceptualising events and content for social media, but also supporting other teams and spokespeople with both creative input and hands-on copy. You are ensuring consistent brand messaging, including voice and tone, across print, video and other communication channels. Further, you are actively pushing for improvement of content creation, based on trends in communication and the latest developments within the communication field. Lastly, you drive the creation of clear, compelling text to inform and engage co-workers and to sell products and/ or educate and engage the many on all IKEA channels.
