If this sounds like a challenge you’re interested in, we’re now looking for a Press Assistant to strengthen our Corporate Communications team in our office in Stockholm.

The position

As a Press Assistant in the Corporate Communications team, you will be working with how we tell our stories in NENT Group’s external channels. It will be your job to ensure that we have the right news focus, language and tonality in our external communication – mainly our press releases. You will also be responsible for answering external questions from for example journalists and developing internal Q&A’s for responding to external questions. You will work cross functionally and support other teams, such as Investor Relations, in their communication.

In this position, you would report to our SVP & Head of Corporate Communications, Roberta Alenius.

Main tasks in this position:

  • Write and translate press releases in both English and Swedish.
  • Keep an eye out and search internally for information that can be used externally
  • Produce Q&A’s for more extensive communication.
  • Managing our tools for press releases and media coverage.

With Viaplay entering new markets, it’s the Corporate Communication team’s mission to provide the best communication for NENT Group both externally and internally. As our Press Assistant, you will play a particularly important role in this journey by forming our press releases and in doing so, contribute to how we are perceived in all the new markets.

What we are looking for

To succeed in this role, we believe that you are in the beginning of your career and are passionate about communicating a message in the right tonality. NENT Group is a Nordic player with an international footprint and while you may not be from Sweden, you are fluent in Swedish and your English is at native level. You thrive in a high energy and results-oriented environment and you put a high value on teamwork. You are a people person who enjoys working cross functionally and taking in diverse perspectives on your work.

To be a successful candidate, we believe that you:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree within communications, media or other relevant degree.
  • Have previous experience (1-3 years) as a Press or Communications Assistant, Communication Specialist or similar.
  • Are an excellent communicator with strong attention to detail.
  • Are fluent in Swedish, and your English is at a native level.
  • Can work proactively, independently and reliably in a fast-paced environment.
