About the job
You are an important part of the Marketing Department for Mercedes-Benz Cars, Sweden. The focus for this position is supporting the Marketing Manager in campaigns, events, dealer marketing support follow-up on costs &, purchase. In general you will help in the planning, development, implementation, and follow up on all marketing and communications activities towards defined target customer segments. To achieve this, you will work very much “hands-on” in close co-operation with the entire team and especially the Marketing Manager but also with the product- and sales team is required as well as contact and steering of the creative agency. The coordination and interaction with the rest of the team and other departments is of an essence.
Your main tasks include:
• Hands-on campaign and event planning and execution
• Support in planning, developing, implementing and to follow up events/sponsorships and car exhibitions.
• Daily contact with the dealers to support, steer and cooperate to improve the retail marketing
• Support dealer network, internal departments and agencies with input: briefings, material, ads etc.
In this function you will report directly to the Senior Marketing Manager Mercedes-Benz Cars in Sweden. But in every-day tasks, the Marketing Manager is your main point of contact.
As a person you are structured, organized and driven. You are good at communicating and building relationships. You are enthusiastic, committed and are used to mantling great personal responsibility. You are strong handling stress and working towards deadlines. It’s also essential that you have a customer focus are committed to secure an optimal experience for the customers.
You hold a relevant academic degree and have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in delivering top results within B2C or B2B marketing and/or advertising. Experience from working with events is a prerequisite!
Your main experience may come from another business than the automotive business and could be from either a vendor of products or from a media/advertisement agency. If you have knowledge of the car industry and marketing of high-end products that is advantage.
Your communication skills are high and you strive to learn more in – both written and spoken! You are a native Swedish speaker and excellent at both written and spoken English. Some knowledge in German would be advantageous but not necessary.
