The Marketing Manager has the overall responsibility for the outbound global marketing of the Food Business Unit product ranges and brands

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Marketing team (3 direct and 7 indirect reports) and the global MarCom budget
  • Develop and execute global marcom strategies for major products and segments together with Global MarCom, Sales and Product Management for Food business in PerkinElmer
  • Work closely with the company’s sales, service and business development teams; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations
  • Manage and develop PerkinElmer Food’s digital presence, including website, Google Adwords and social media
  • Turn content received from product marketing and sales into write messaging and content for shows and advertisement (paper and digital)
  • Define the social media strategy for the food business and develop global campaigns in collaboration with Marketing and Sales

Personal Profile:

  • Proven track record of success in a senior marketing role in a global company
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience from B2B marketing, preferably in Life Science sector
  • Solid experience from digital marketing and social media strategies as well as strong technical writing skills for advertisement and digital content
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Enjoys both managing a team and being a contributor
  • Easily switches between operative and strategic tasks
