Head of Marketing at Noquo Foods
We are building out our Marketing function
After two years of R&D we are about to launch our first product which is scary, overwhelming and the same time super exciting! Together with Production & Operations (headed by Ali who joined us recently) and Sales (to be announced soon!), Marketing will be key in order to successfully commercialise the business. We are therefore looking for someone to head up our Marketing function to ensure people get what the world’s most ambitious cheese is all about.
With the ambition to become a category leader and build a company to last, we are not taking things lightly. We are investing heavily in developing superior products and we need an outstanding communication strategy and execution to follow, ensuring people get us and our products. Initially we will focus on the Swedish market with the purpose of learning more about our brand and our products before we expand out to other markets. Our products will be sold in a number of channels ranging from restaurants and cafeterias to large scale retail and D2C.
Being the first person in the function, you will take strategic lead on our brand as well as all related day-to-day marketing activities. Worth mentioning is that we are in the middle of rebranding, which will obviously fall under your responsibility once joining. Moreover, you know what works within communication and branding and can therefore plan for high impact and strategic activities as well as driving campaigns to establish our positioning.
At the end of the day, it is all about building a brand people give a shit about.
In this position you will work closely with both Sales and Product Development and report to myself (Sorosh Tavakoli, CEO).
Who you are
You don’t have to be vegan, actually none of us are 100% strict about it, but we do expect you to have a career within marketing, where experience from business development and sales will be beneficial as well. You might come from an agency, a scale up or even being a founder of your own company – we don’t know and to be frank, we don’t really care. What we do believe, is that you have experience from the consumer goods industry with proven great skills to build a long lasting brand.
As a person, you have a hands-on mentality, an analytical and structured way of working with attention to detail. As communication is key, your verbal and writing skills are top-notch and as we will start off with the Swedish market, your Swedish is on a proficient level.
