As a Community Manager at Paradox Interactive, you act as the voice of the brand in the community, and the voice of our fans in the product team. Your responsibility is cultivating, growing and activating the community surrounding your assigned brands, increasing the size of our owned audience and the impact of our marketing actions. You are an active participant in the discussion on forums and social media, taking part in all relevant community activities (live streams, events, social media campaigns…)

You are also responsible for measuring the success rate of our content and community campaigns, and feeding community input back to the marketing and development teams, ensuring a productive and constructive feedback loop. This gives you an important role in shaping the future development of our products.
You report to the Head of Community, or a Senior Community Manager, with the Product Marketing Manager responsible for budgeting and allocating your time between projects. In day-to-day-operations, you work closely with the product team. As a community manager, you are responsible for all owned media channels associated with the brand (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Paradox Forum, Discord or others).
You also coordinate with freelance Community Ambassador(s) working on your assigned brands to ensure the animation, moderation, and management of the communication and social media channels, as well as the execution of the marketing team content roll-out plan. You make sure content is posted on time, and announcements are made as planned, while providing reporting on reach, engagement and community sentiment to your team and partners.
Key responsibilities
Manage, grow and cultivate healthy and inclusive communities for assigned brands.
Execute innovative community activities to increase reach and engagement for your brand(s).
Manage all communications through your assigned brands owned channels (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Forum etc), acting as the ”voice of the brand”.
Copy writing for campaign websites, patch notes and other brand communications.
Feed actionable community feedback to marketing and development teams with structured community sentiment reporting.
Coordinate announcements, social media content posting, and day-to-day planning with stakeholders (Content Producer, Product Marketing Manager, Partner Manager, PR agency, Performance marketer).
Manage and coordinate with freelance Community Ambassadors.
Required qualifications
Experience building and nurturing communities online, creating engaging content for a consumer audience, and managing social media tools and platforms.
Both excellent proactive and reactive communications capabilities.
Previous experience working in the video game industry is preferable.
A deep understanding of and interest in video game culture and communities.
Interest in, and experience, with the games developed and published by Paradox Interactive is preferable.
Basic knowledge of picture and video editing tools is preferable, but not necessary.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
